Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. On one hand, the location was fantastic, right across the street from the beautiful Lake Taupo and within walking distance to the town. However, the rooms were a bit dated and too warm, requiring me to keep the window open and use a fan to cool down. The service was friendly overall, but there was an issue with the meal charge that caused some inconvenience. The dining options were a bit limited and pricey, while the facilities were decent but nothing exceptional.
